Omschrijving
Gentle Gringo is available for adoption in the Netherlands.
This charming boy has had quite an adventurous life so far. For the first five years of his life, he was a garden cat. He arrived in his rescuers garden when he was a kitten, leaving for his nightly endeavours but returning for food and the safety afforded to him.
Despite being a free spirit, Gringo has had enough of the outdoor life and is now ready for a home of his own.
Gringo is incredibly sweet and has a very placid demeanour. With patience and love, Gringo’s cuddly and affectionate nature is growing by the day. He now says hello with a nose sniff, and will come sit next to you or on your lap. He craves love and attention, loves his back and head scratches and purrs so loud! He can be a little wary of strangers and is easily startled if hands come to his face too quickly but his confidence and trust in humans is growing by the day. Gringo is beginning to understand toys and has started to play a little, he is so gentle that he doesn't even play bite.
During his time in foster care, he has accepted a couple of kittens that his family rescued in the past and was always friendly and sweet with them, even letting them sleep with him. Gringo has been around a dog, though not too close, he might get along with a calm, laid-back dog. That being said, we would prefer and recommend that Gringo is the only pet in the household for his wellbeing and continued development.
His ideal home would be adults only or a family with older children who can provide him with a calm and understanding environment. Gringo is an indoor only cat but would benefit from a catio, or fully catproof external space. This would allow him to enjoy the fresh air and sights safely.
Gringo has the potential to be a loving companion, he needs a patient and understanding family who can allow him the time and space he needs to adjust and continue to blossom and to show him what it means to be loved and cared for. With love and patience, Gringo can become a wonderful, affectionate member of your family.
Gringo is approximately 6 years old, a larger boy at 6.5kg, he is fully vaccinated including rabies, neutered, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV and mycoplasma and in good health.
His adoption fee is €275 which goes towards his relocation costs.
