Simba

Meet Simba, a courageous tabby boy is looking for a forever home in the Netherlands.

Simba and his sister Peaches were found on a rooftop of a building, they were just four weeks old at that time and crying out for their mother, who was nowhere to be found. It's a mystery how they ended up there.

For the past eight years, they've been lovingly cared for by their rescuer. Being a short-haired, typical-looking cat, Simba often gets overlooked and remains un-adopted. His foster mom knows he deserves a loving home where he can thrive, rather than stay cooped up in one room, especially considering his sweet and calm demeanour.

Though Simba is classified as a senior cat, he still possesses the playful energy of a younger feline. He is gentle and affectionate, offering head nudges and asking pets, even if he’s not a full lap cat, he would still sit in your lap for a couple of minutes. Simba is quite independent and always stands guard for his shy sister, Peaches.

He is extremely sociable, loves greeting guests and appreciates their attention. He’ll follow you around the house, staying close at your feet until you can engage with him. While he's incredibly friendly with people, he prefers to be the only male cat in the household, and he doesn’t get along with other felines—except for Peaches.

Simba is protective of his sister, often snuggling with her as if to reassure her that he’s there for her for the rest of their lives.

He’s also very gentle with children and would do best in a home with calm kids of at least 8 years old and above. Simba is an indoor cat only or an access to a cat-proofed balcony.

Simba is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and have tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.
