Meet Bret: the lap cat you’ve always dreamed of!

Bret, a stunning and affectionate lap cat, is in search of his forever home in the Netherlands. This charming 1.5-year-old sweetheart will transform your life with his endless cuddles and love. He adores sitting on your lap, purring contentedly while kneading away like a pro!

Bret was rescued after being found on top of a parked car on a side street and has since received a clean bill of health following neutering, vaccinations, and testing. Now, he’s ready to start his journey to find a loving family to call his own.

With a playful spirit, Bret enjoys batting around his ball and has a delightful, quirky meow that sounds more like a frog croaking! He loves human attention and is gentle with people, making him an ideal fit for a family home. We believe he could do well with older children who can respect his boundaries.

Given that Bret is FIV+, he can only go to a home where he’s the only cat, or with other FIV+ cats. While he hasn’t been tested with other animals yet, his friendly nature suggests that with proper, slow introductions, he could adapt well to living with other FIV+ cats or dogs. For this though, we require a patient adopter who doesn’t rush the process and takes the required time to ensure this happens safely.

Bret really loves human company and so is an ideal companion for someone working from home. He truly enjoys being stroked, kissed & hugged at all times.

Bret is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated and tested positive for FIV but negative for FeLV and mycoplasma.
