May

May is a two year old female Anatolian Shepherd mix. Separated from her mom, she was dumped at a feeding area in Turkey at only 2 months of age together with her siblings.

May is an adorable dog, suitable for families or first time dog-owners. She is goofy and sweet. All she wants is eye contact and lots of pets.

She is a shy girl when meeting new people and dogs, but gets along well with all, so it is only a matter of introduction for her to warm up to anyone and any dogs.

She loves grass and rolling in it. Also long slow walks are her favorite. At home she is pretty much laying down and if given a bone chewing on it, not very active. She is also potty trained.

She is used to car rides and hop into cars herself. She is also good during the ride, watching outside from the windows.

She is easy on the leash, no pulling or resistance and she is currently learning recall. Already pretty good at recall as she doesn’t run away; if she runs ahead she either waits or comes back. To see her in action please visit Adopt.nl Instagram page or simply contact us!

We are hoping to give her a forever home by her second birthday in September.

We know she will make a great family dog and a best companion for someone who likes long walks outside and cuddles at home.

She was diagnopsed with hip dysplasia back in Turkey and had a surgical operation known as TPO (triple pelvic osteotomy). She also received physical therapy. She is not using any medication or require any treatment.
