Settee

Meet Settee, 8 months old sweet and playful is looking for a home in the Netherlands.

Settee was born in the parking structure of his rescuer's apartment building. His feral mother cared for him until he was weaned but after that he was left alone in the parking structure living off scraps from the building residents. Sometimes called Couch Kitten, he lived in a huge pile of saggy cushions and several abandoned sofas to stay warm and comfy during the winter, hence his name Settee!

He was friendly, snuggly, and playful with everyone who cared for him in the parking structure. Often, he was too distracted by playing with shoelaces to dig into the food people would offer! So his rescuer scooped him up knowing he would be the purrfect addition to a family.

Sweet silly snuggly Settee! He is a real treat, greeting you at the door to ask about your day and dancing about to show how excited he is for you to be home instantly puts a smile on your face. He’s pleased to accompany you around the house and even lend a helping paw in household chores! He especially enjoys helping with the sweeping, chasing the broom may not make the task faster but certainly more enjoyable!

Settee loves to play, leaping after the wand toy in spectacular displays of athleticism and when he gets tired you’ll know, he will take the wand toy and drag it off to “put it away”. However, his absolute favourite game is to play with Puddle’s tail, in true little brother fashion.

As his name implies, where Settee really wants to be is curled up with you on the couch! With a blanket on your lap for snuggly biscuits he is pleased to cuddle up while you read or watch or nap. He shares a lap well; he and Puddle are peas in a pod. You’ll never want for snuggles.
Settee is enthusiastic about food, especially the wet variety, but is not a fussy eater. He is also a good travel companion, he does well in the carrier, car, and at the vet. After a few initial meows of protest, he settles into the car ride and is easily handled at the vet.

Settee is strictly indoor cat only or an access into a fully catproofed balcony.
He is fully vaccinated for Tricat and Rabies, Microchipped, Neutered, tested negative for Mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV
