Zeus

Sadly, I am no longer able to provide Zeus with the environment and attention he deserves and needs to thrive.
I am a single mom, relocated from Seattle with my two year old boy and both Zeus and his sister. The off leash dogs that run at and chase us causes Zeus to be very stressed. Never encountered this so much in any other city. This is becoming unsafe as my toddler prefers to be out of the stroller; almost impossible to manage everyone when Zeus is disrupted on a walk. He thinks he's Laine's guard dog.. Despite tons of training before we moved and more after we moved, Zeus can't stay consistently neutral when dogs either run up to or at us, walk out their door barking while we pass by, etc. He is fine with most dogs, but the surprise element gets him. I can't manage everyone and need to be able to walk all three together.
Zeus loves attention but is no longer tolerant of my toddler who wants to hug on him all the time (Despite my trying to teach my son). Zeus also doesn't tolerate being separated from my son when I can't keep a close eye on everyone-example, he will open my office door to get out. Managing the situation is untenable sadly as I love Zeus.
His sister has adapted well with the training we have done, so she will stay with us. It will also be easier to find Zeus the right home on his own.
Have spent $$$$$ and hours on training, calming supplements, techniques, animal communicator, etc. It's time to find a better human(s) for Zeus who can stop trying to force him to change. It's been incredibly difficult because I love him and haven't wanted to let him go. But I can't be a good mom to all three of them sadly. He's a really great boy who will thrive in a different situation as he did before I became a mom.
Will donate funds to a shelter for those who adopt them together. Including a fee to ensure they go to someone who will have the resources, time, and attention to give them more than I can.
