Meet TOMMY, this adorable one-eyed boy is looking for his forever home in the Netherlands.

At 3-week-old, he was found all alone in a deserted area, crying out his tiny heart under the scorching heat of Bahrain in May, last year. He had suffered an injury to his face and was unable to see where he was going, wandering aimlessly without the comfort of his mother's warmth. No one knows how he ended up there, abandoned and helpless.

Tommy's life was forever changed when he was diagnosed with a badly affected eye, leaving him blind in one eye. He underwent surgery, which left as a reminder of his difficult start in life.

Tommy is now over a year old and still searching for his forever home. He has been trying to find a home in Bahrain and in the UK but to no luck and is now taking a chance in the Netherlands. Despite being a one-eyed kitty, he has learned to adapt and enjoy his life. He lives with three older cats, who have become like a surrogate family to him.

Tommy is a ball of energy, always looking for someone to play with. He loves chasing after balls and playing with his foster mom, who showers him with love and attention. He's also a bit of a cuddle bug, purring contentedly in his foster mom's arms.

But despite his affectionate nature, Tommy is still shy around people at first. He'll hide in the corner, unsure of what to expect. It takes time for him to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, he'll let them pet him gently.

At home, Tommy loves to lounge around the house, napping in the sunbeams through the windows or lounging in the cat tree in his catproofed balcony.

Tommy is looking for a forever home where he can be loved and cared for. A family who doesn’t mind a one-eyed kitty. He would thrive in a home with other cats, as long as they're introduced properly and given enough time to settle in. And because he's so affectionate, he would also make a great companion for kids.

He is fully vaccinated against Tricat and Rabies, Neutered, Microchipped, tested negative for giardia, mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.
