Meet Cookie, a stunning and playful kitty is looking for a forever home in the Netherlands.

She was found resting among a pile of dismantled old furniture, incredibly skinny and dehydrated from who knows how long of living on the streets without food or water. As soon as she heard her rescuer approaching, she eagerly came over, meowing for food. Her long coat was very dry, with patches of missing fur, scars, and scratches, indicating that she had been struggling for her life against other stray cats.

Cookie was taken to the vet for a thorough health check, and aside from being anemic and having a minor wound, she has no major health concerns. She is now flourishing in her foster home and gaining weight.

She adapted quickly to the other calm cats in her foster home and is very playful, enjoying both playtime with her feline friends and solo fun with toys. Cookie loves chasing balls or string toys around the house and gets excited when her humans arrive, relishing playtime with them. She is independent and not overly clingy, although she does enjoy being picked up and petted. When she wants her space, she will hop off your lap and entertain herself with the toys.

Cookie loves to climb her cat tree and observe the world from the highest perch. She would be happy in a home with other calm cats or could be perfectly content as a solo pet. She is strictly an indoor cat but can have access to a fully cat-proof balcony.

Cookie is estimated as 2 years old, fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and has tested negative for mycoplasma and the FIV/FeLV.
Currently in Bahrain, Cookie is ready to travel to the Netherlands as soon as she finds her forever home.
