Due to unexpected changes at my workplace, I’m facing the very difficult decision to rehome my beloved dog. A necessary downsizing of my living space means I can no longer provide him with the environment he truly deserves. This choice has not been easy, but my priority is ensuring he thrives in a home that can meet his needs.

He is a loyal, loving companion with a bright and intelligent personality. He is crate-trained, highly food-motivated, and picks up training quickly. However, his cleverness means he can get bored easily and thrives with plenty of mental stimulation and attention.

He has a high prey drive, so it will take time and patience before he can be trusted off-leash. While he may bark when faced with something unfamiliar, it’s only out of fear—he has never had issues meeting new people.

He’s also an excellent running partner and loves long adventures, making him a great match for someone with an active lifestyle. He would do best with someone who can dedicate the time, energy, and love he needs to stay engaged and happy.

This decision comes from a place of love and wanting the best for him. I’m hopeful to find someone who can provide the active, attentive, and loving home he truly deserves.
