Liva

Liva was dumped by the municipality to a high and fast traffic area in 2019 as a very young dog of around 10 months of age. There were restaurants and she would go to passersby for pets and sometimes food. People were scared and treated her badly. After I almost hit her with my car even though I was looking for her, I decided that she needs a secure place to live. After many failed attempts to lure her to live at a quieter place, and with this stichting yet to be established, I reached out to other rescue organizations in search for a secure place for her.

Only SilivriCanları, a private shelter, responded positively and I sent her to live in their sanctuary in İstanbul. Recently SilivriCanları has gone through many hardships so getting even 1 dog out of their hands is a big help. And now that we have a reasonable number of dogs under our care, I decided to try her chance to find a home and experience to be part of a family.

Liva is a gorgeous girl with such beautiful features and alluring aura.

Just like many stray dogs she must have been hit and kicked, and we believe that is why when she is approached by people she would lay low and make herself as small as possible, openning her belly to show she means no harm. But she also wants to be loved, melting into a loving hand.

She walks well on a leash. Knows that leash means going to another place. She is a quiet and low maintenance dog who will be happy with relaxing nature walks and cuddling and chilling at home 🏡

She is already potty trained and she is not a chewer. She lived all her life alone, so staying alone a few hours should not be a problem.
