Sweet George Looking for a Peaceful Home 🐾

George (Georgie) is an exceptionally sweet and gentle female cat looking for a quiet home where she can get the attention she deserves. (Yes, she’s a girl with a boy’s name 😸) George is naturally a bit shy, especially around many people, but one-on-one she absolutely blossoms. She becomes a real cuddler who gives head bumps, sits on your lap, and even ‘massages’ you with her paws. She never scratches, is never mean, and plays very gently. A cat sitter once said George was the sweetest cat she’d ever cared for!

What George wants most:
• A peaceful home without other cats or dogs (she’s much happier as an only cat)
• An owner who doesn’t travel much and is home often
• She prefers calm, gentle people (has a soft spot for women!)
• Loves being near you (and napping) while you work or watch movies

What you should know about George:
George occasionally has a skin allergy that causes itching. This is easily manageable with special diet food or medication. Sometimes this is stress-related, which is why she needs a stable, calm environment.
During stressful periods (like when strangers are pet-sitting), she may occasionally urinate outside the litter box. This mainly happens when she’s unsure or the box isn’t cleaned daily - she’s actually very clean! In a stable, loving home, this likely won’t be an issue. I need to travel a lot, so this has occured in those periods. That is why I realised that she will benefit from a different living situation.

George is perfect for you if:
• You have a peaceful lifestyle and want a loyal, cuddly companion
• You understand that some cats need extra love and stability
• You enjoy building a special bond with a sensitive, loving cat
• If you have a garden or balcony that's a nice plus, I notice she likes to go outside (I don't have an outside)
