Brittney

Brittney is a shy little kitten with big black eyes and the sweetest grey nose. She has the unique look of an elegant Parisian lady with a stylish grey/beige coat adorned with glamorous emerald jewels. It takes her a bit of time to build confidence, but once she gets comfortable, she won’t leave your lap. She meows asking for more petting while she grooms you and purrs loudly. She also loves to sleep on the bed with you at night.

She is very loving, playful, rolls to get a belly rub. But once she decides it’s time to do some exploring, she goes for it. And it’s quite funny to see her looking at everything, often going up on her back legs to see it better. She has been an indoor cat so the best fit is to be indoors, with the option to get outside on a secured balcony or an outdoor space where she will be safe. She is still growing from baby to adult phase, so needs extra attention and encouragement at times, and it’s wonderful to monitor the process of her building confidence and blossoming in her approach and personality.

She likes treats, especially soft and liquid ones are her favorites, which makes it easy to help her build habits in the new home and/or to reward her for a good experience.

Brittney, just like Sandra, is very adaptable and loving, so a perfect addition to any household, and most of all – a loving forever home. They both had a rough start in life, born as street kittens in Bulgaria, and trying to fight for survival while still babies. She was found as a sick, very tiny baby and it was a miracle that she managed to survive and recover under the care of the volunteer vet team who found her. She was placed in the same cage as Sandra, and the two of them found the strength to warm each other, groom each other and keep each other company during the months they spent in the shelter. That made them inseparable best friends and they are looking for a family that wants to keep that bond intact.

Brittney has been living with a foster family in the Netherlands since early March, and has built the comfort to home life and all required habits – toilet training, meal times, scratching areas, etc. She enjoys the company of other cats, not only Sandra, and is comfortable around children.

Brittney is neutered, has all vaccines for her age, and has a chip and an international passport.

We are asking for a 50-euro donation which will go to the foster parent to cover expenses during her foster care.
