Tina

Tina is a 9-year-old dog who has been terribly neglected by humans. When she came to us, she was so afraid of people that we were not allowed to approach her, she ran away from every move we made.
Tina has not been walked in her 9 years, when she came to us, she bit through the first leash we put on her, it is terrible how much she tried with all her might to escape from the harness and leash.
We had to gradually teach her to wear a harness, then a leash, and then to be led by us.
After some time with us, Tina became a new dog! Tina doesn't run away, she cuddles, she has zoomies, she jumps on me, and she walks next to my leg (she only walks on the right side, she doesn't want to walk next to my left leg) she is so good on a leash that I can safely say that I have never had a nicer walk with a dog, I walk her on a flexi and I never have to stop her, because she is always next to my leg, and if she goes to sniff, to do the toilet, as soon as she is done she returns to my leg, even when we cross the road she waits while I wait without pulling her and stopping her.

As far as I can see Tina is friendly to all animals, she gets along with our cats, dogs, she also doesn't react to our rabbits or to the birds outside on a walk.
Bathing was also strange to her, but she allowed me to bathe her.
Tina's disadvantage is that you have to control how much water she drinks because if she drinks a lot of water she won't be able to hold it in and will pee in the house.
Tina is generally a cheerful, cuddly dog, she really loves being with people once she relaxes.
I have gained her trust and I can let her off the leash, she doesn't go anywhere from me, she is always close to me.
We are looking for a home for her without small children, a home full of love, patience and will.
A person who would be interested in Tina must be calm, without raising their voice and must be aware that they need to work as hard as we do to gain Tina's trust (it is very possible that she will run away from you as she did from us at the beginning, she generally doesn't like strangers approaching her and trying to pet her, she always moves away).
Tina is sensitive and runs away from raised voices, we don't have that here and we are trying to make her really start to believe that there are good people.
I would ask that you only contact us if you are willing to give her enough time to relax and start to trust you just like she started to trust us.
For adoption, you will receive a questionnaire through which we will get a little more information about you so that we know where and who the dog is going to, if you are not willing to answer the questions you will not be able to adopt a dog from us.
