Tommy

Tommy is a real sweetheart – calm, well-mannered and gentle. He enjoys cuddles, loves to purr when getting petted and turns his head to know you he enjoys it. He's not high energy - he seems to like a corner in the window to watch what's going on outside.

He's curious and finds his way around a new house in no time. He doesn't like to feel confined and prefers open doors inside - he kindly asks you to open the door and goes exploring. His preference could be an outdoor/indoor cat, but he will be fine with an enclosed balcony or a terrace.

Tommy was found in the street in Bulgaria, badly injured. He is definitely a house cat who either ran away or was abandoned. He was shot in his back leg and was not going to survive. But he has a lucky star - after surgery and a comprehensive treatment, he fully recovered. Now he is back to walking normally on all four legs, does not need medication and is ready to be loved again!

Tommy is now in the Netherlands and is ready to start a new happy life with his friend Raya, who he met in the shelter and bonded with like a couple.

He is social with both people and with kids – he is living with kids in foster care. Tommy can socialize with other cats too, and is respectful of their space – for example, if Raya is eating, he will wait until she's done and only then engage with her to play.

For an easier adaptation, Tommy may require some distance in the beginning if he feels overwhelmed (but it doesn't mean he's going to.) However, once he sees there is no problem, he will come to you asking for love and attention. From then on, he will trust you and be your best friend!

Tommy is neutered, has current vaccinations, and negative tests for the main feline viruses. He has a chip and an international passport.
