Maurice

Maurice looks like a sand-colored baby lion with the innocent expression of a kitten looking to discover the world. He's a very cuddly and relaxed cat, social and curious about this surroundings. He loves watching birds passing by the window, playing catch with his friend Megan, or just be highly entertained by himself with smaller toys.

He's a cat that is half cuddly, half independent. He will lay and sleep on your lap but when he wakes up, he goes exploring so he is definitely an indoor/outdoor cat that will enjoy some time outside (or on a secured balcony). A kitten with a preference for soft food, he loves to have cat treats once a day. He likes to take long naps after his meals, be cuddled and petted, and really enjoys attention. In return, you get his content soft purring which is like an engine of happiness vibrating inside him.

Born as a stray kitten in Bulgaria, Maurice had to learn to find food in the street and to stay safe while still a baby. He was found by our volunteers around 3 months of age and brought to a clinic where he was examined, treated for minor infections and shown a safe place and human love. Since arriving in his foster home in the Netherlands, Maurice has been in excellent health, gained weight and built some confidence to be around people, kids and pets.

Maurice is neutered and has all required vaccines. He has a chip and an international passport.
