Balou is one of the most cuddly and affectionate cats I have ever encountered in my life. He is almost 5 but you wouldn't guess it. He still behaves like a kitten. He's a little scaredy-cat but still very curious. About a year ago he started having digestive problems and a sensitive stomach which is why I've been feeding him gastric sensitive food about 5-6 times per day. I want a place for him where he can be the center of attention. Someone who will give him as much love as I did while raising him. Just as he deserves. Someone who will play with him and cuddle with him. He loves sleeping in my arms in the bed all cuddled up. He usually opens up quickly to strangers even though he is a bit hesitant, but if you treat him with patience and affection he will give just as much back. I would only give him to someone who can guarantee me to give me updates on how he is doing from time to time. You have to understand that I raised him with a bottle because he was abandoned by his mother. So it is really hard for me to give him up. He loves playing with small soft objects that you throw which he can bring back again. He knows commands like sit and wait for example too. Last September I had to move to the Netherlands from Germany because of work and we had to move from a big house into a shared apartment. Unfortunately the girl we moved in with has 5 other cats and two dogs. While for some time everything was okay Balou started showing signs of isolation. In January I had to treat him with medication because of his gastric issues so he spent 6 weeks inside the room with me without going out. After he got better we let him go out again but he started behaving hostile against all the other animals. When he is inside the room he is the most well behaved cat but he just doesn't get along with the other animals. My roommate told me that I either have to keep him in the room until I move or give him up. I was looking for a temporary place for him but couldn't find anything. Since moving again is not possible for me for the next 8-12 months and keeping him inside the small room would be torture I heavy heartedly had to make a decision. The price is not because I want to make money but because I want to find someone who is genuinely interested in him and his character. Of course I would also provide a good amount of food to start you off with him (about 5-10kg free of charge) since giving him different food while moving might have a bad effect.
