Meet Heather – a fluffy calico sweetheart with a heart as soft as her fur. She was originally part of Rescat’s TNR program, but it didn’t take long for our vet to realize she wasn’t a street cat at all. With her calm nature and trusting personality, it was clear she had once been a pet, likely dumped and left behind. So instead of returning her to the streets, we raised the funds to give Heather a real chance at the life she deserves — and now she’s looking for a forever home in the Netherlands.

Heather is gentle, affectionate, and thrives on human connection. She’ll quietly follow you from room to room, nap contentedly at your feet, and lean into every scratch and cuddle you offer. She’s not particularly playful — more of a lounger and napper — and she’s happiest just being near you. She has an adorable little squeak of a meow, barely audible and mostly reserved for meal times. Her favorite treat is chicken pâté, which she never leaves behind, and she’s quickly developed a love for crunchy chicken kibble too. She’s sociable and friendly with new people, and absolutely loves being the center of someone’s attention.

Heather has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated. She has also tested negative for FIV, FeLV, Giardia, Mycoplasma, and ringworm, giving her a clean bill of health. Her adoption fee is €275, and it is only due once she arrives safely to her adopter’s home in the Netherlands.
