🐾 Meet Milka – Your Belly-Rub-Loving, Corgi-Sized Companion! 🐾
Milka’s story began on the beautiful west coast of Turkey, where she lived as a beloved community dog. Locals looked after her until one day, someone reported her to the municipal shelter for treatment of her injured tail. What seemed like an act of care turned into a 4-month confinement—because of the current "massacre law" in Turkey, once a stray dog enters a shelter, they can’t be released again unless adopted.

We couldn’t let her waste away behind bars for no reason, so we stepped in and brought Milka out, determined to help her find a forever home.

Milka now lives peacefully among a dozen other dogs and is hands down the easiest dog when it comes to dog-to-dog introductions. She’s incredibly affectionate, trusting, and gentle with every living creature. Call her name with a soft voice, and she’ll instantly roll over to show her belly—her adorable way of saying, “I trust you.”

🐾 A loving, patient home to help her adjust to a home environment.
🐾 Someone willing to support her with basic training, such as leash walking and house manners.
🐾 A home with other dogs is fine, as she is social and friendly.

Foster-to-Adopt Option:
If you’re considering adoption but want to be sure, we offer a foster-to-adopt program. This allows you to spend time with Milka before making a final decision. If adoption isn’t the right fit, fostering still provides a crucial stepping stone on her journey to a forever home.

🐾 Health Notes:
✅ Fully vaccinated (Rabies, KC, DHPPL)
✅ Dewormed & flea/tick preventive every two months
✅ Titer test confirming sufficient rabies antibodies
✅ Spayed & microchipped
✅ Tested negative heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Giardia, Parvo, Corona, and Distemper
✅ Tested positive for Leishmania but it’s a manageable/controllable disease with proper vet check. Currently she has no symptoms and as long as cared properly and frequent vet check nothing to worry. During the foster period, we will cover all necessary vetting costs.
