Meet Serendipity.. the cat who chose to be rescued!

Sometimes, the universe steps in and writes a story we could never have planned.

One of our volunteers was on a routine drive, transporting a recently rescued cat to their foster home. It was just another day, until something caught her eye on the side of a quiet road. A fluffy, gentle-looking cat was sitting calmly by the curb, as if she was waiting for someone.

Our volunteer, being cautious, didn’t want to risk any cross-contamination with the cat already in her care. But as fate would have it, she had an extra carrier in the car — just in case.

She gently placed the empty carrier on the ground near the fluffy stranger, not knowing what to expect.

And then the unexpected happened.

Without hesitation, the cat walked right in.

No fear, no fight. Just trust. As if she knew that this was her moment. As if she had been waiting for someone to give her a second chance.

We named her Serendipity, because her rescue felt like a beautiful accident.. perfectly timed and completely meant to be.

Serendipity was immediately taken to the vet, and we’re overjoyed to say she’s in perfect health. She tested negative for FIV, FeLV, mycoplasma, and giardia. She's healthy, safe, and finally ready to find a family of her own.

Serendipity is more than just a cat.. she’s a reminder of how love finds its way, even on the side of the road.
