Maxim

Maximus Aurelius the Pupper, aka, Maxim, is looking for a new home! Born in Russia, he was adopted at 4,5 months. Now at 16 months, this fantastic Yorkie/Border Collie mix is in need of a lovely active family with a large garden and one or more dogs to play with.
He has a lot of puppy energy, loves to run around and play with dogs (same size, or bigger) and people, loves to work (that's the Border Collie in him) and to guard (the Yorkie side!).
Maxim can sometimes get a bit reactive (because he is still a bit insecure), so he needs someone with doggy experience.
Favourite food: Chicken
Favourite toy: Mister Fox (or any other plushy squeaky toys)
Favourite place: anywhere he can run, play with other dogs, and sniff things.

He is used to public transport and cars, is socialised, and is fully house and crate trained. He is great at/with pet boarding places and dog sitters.

Maxim is 8 kilos, fully vaccinated, neutered, and a very healthy boy.

Furriness: Very furry because he doesn't shed. He needs to be groomed frequently (every 2 months). He is also the softest of the softest boy. He needs a good experienced professional groomer who can make him feel safe.

- sit, down, stand, paw,
- here, come, Maxim,
- up up (on furniture), ground (on the ground)
- quiet (works especially in gardens and balconies)
- where's the ... / bring ...

- walks: leash trained, but can be a bit pully. he's getting calmer though
- parks: he is super happy off leash in dog parks and won't run away (too far)
- gardens: it needs to be fenced.

- can be alone at home, I do recommend to put him in the crate, so he feels safer.

must haves:
- a chicken stick when I am having dinner.
- love, attention, to feel safe, and a big brother/sister/person to look up to
