Meet Masquerade – A Playful Princess with a Mask of Mystery

Say hello to Masquerade, a stunning 10-month-old Domestic Shorthair with the energy of a kitten and the spirit of a survivor. Rescued from the streets of Bahrain after being abandoned by her stray mother, Masquerade’s journey has been one of resilience, healing, and transformation.

This little lady was once a tiny two-month-old kitten, fed daily by her rescuer. She was spayed at just five months old, but when a sudden storm brought freezing rain, Masquerade fell gravely ill. She was rushed to the vet with a life-threatening upper respiratory infection and internal infection. Thanks to intensive care, she made a full recovery and is now a healthy, happy girl.

Personality & Quirks:
Masquerade is full of personality – playful, confident, and endlessly curious. She’s obsessed with feather toys, plushies, ribbon games, and interactive play. When she’s not showing off her zoomies, she’s lounging beside you on the couch or meowing gently for attention. Pet her too much and she might flip into play-mode – she’s a little drama queen who keeps you on your toes in the best way!

She prefers to be your one and only – after being attacked by other street cats, she’s understandably wary and would do best as the only pet in a home. Older children (10+) who respect her space will adore her antics and charm.

Health & Adoption Info:
Masquerade is Spayed, Microchipped, Dewormed, Fully vaccinated (rabies & Tricat), FIV/FeLV & mycoplasma negative. She is also litter trained & okay with nail trimming

She’s currently living in Bahrain and is ready to fly to her forever home in the Netherlands.

Adoption fee: €275 – This helps cover a small portion of Masquerade’s vet and relocation costs from Bahrain.
