This is Lucky

A gentle soul with a quiet strength, Lucky is looking for a home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and understood.

His story began outside a shop in Bahrain, where he had been waiting for days, thin, alone, and with a weepy eye, hoping someone might come back for him. When a kind woman opened her car boot, he jumped right in. The shop staff told her he’d been dumped from a moving car a week earlier. That day, Lucky chose the right boot, and it changed his life.

He was taken straight to the vet and named Lucky, because it marked the beginning of his second chance.

Since then, he’s been in foster care, learning how to trust again. It’s clear from his behavior that he’s lived through trauma. He flinches from quick movements and isn’t a fan of being picked up. But if you’re gentle and give him time, Lucky will come curl up beside you and quietly ask for cuddles. He absolutely adores catnip, and watching him bat toys around or play by himself is like watching a kitten rediscover joy.

Lucky is full of personality; he’s playful, smart, and low-maintenance. But he needs a calm, stable home with someone who understands that healing takes time. He’ll thrive with a patient person who’ll let him come out of his shell at his own pace.

He prefers to be the only pet in the house, he’s had enough of competing for space or love. In the right environment, Lucky will be your quiet, loyal companion, happy just to be near you.

Lucky is Neutered, Fully vaccinated, Microchipped, Dewormed, Tested negative for FIV, FeLV & Mycoplasma.

Adoption fee: €275, which goes toward covering a small portion of his vet and relocation costs from Bahrain.

Lucky has been through more than most cats ever should, but he’s never given up hope. He’s ready for a soft place to land and a person who will finally show him what forever really means.
