Nono isn’t.
But that’s what makes her so incredibly special.
Nono has never known peace — not really. Orphaned as a newborn on the streets of Bahrain, she was hand-raised by a kind rescuer and grew up in a chaotic household of over 15 cats. She never got the chance to feel safe, to be understood, to have space to just be.
Over the years, Nono’s stress built into fear-based aggression. She lashes out when overstimulated, hates other animals, and gets anxious around new people or sudden movement. When a new baby entered the home, Nora’s world unraveled even more. She was confined to a room with other cats for over a year — her worst nightmare. And she’s been fading there ever...
