Meet Gracie, a 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a gentle and loving personality, looking for her forever home. This charming little lady is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a calm, caring person or family.
About Gracie:
• Breed: Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie)
• Age: 14 years young
• Personality: Very quiet, calm, and affectionate. Gracie loves to cuddle on your lap, rest in sunny spots by the window, and enjoy a relaxed daily routine.
• Daily Needs: eating, small play, being around people, loves being indoors
◦ Grooming: Requires monthly haircuts to keep her coat in top shape.
◦ Health: Regular vet checkups due to her age. She has some aging teeth, including a front tooth slowly coming out, but she’s in no pain and remains comfortable.
◦ Diet: Eats small kibble on a grazing schedule.
◦ Exercise: Enjoys short walks a couple of times a day and belly rubs
• Lifestyle: Gracie thrives in a peaceful environment. She’s great with kids and older people, making her a versatile companion. She spends much of her day sleeping or lounging in cozy spots.
• Current Home: Gracie lives in an apartment in De Pijp, Amsterdam, with two adults and an adventurous 4-year-old. While she adores her family, she’d flourish in a quieter setting with plenty of love and quality time.
Why Gracie Needs a New Home: Our family is relocating to Spain, and we want to ensure Gracie finds a loving home where she can continue to be cherished. She’s available for adoption as soon as possible, with the latest date being August 11, 2025.
