Meet Pip – A Loyal, Lively Companion Looking for Her Forever Home

It is with heavy hearts that we are searching for a new home for our beloved Pip. She has been part of our lives for the past four years, and letting her go is one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. But we believe that the right home will give her the peace, stability, and love she truly deserves.

🌟 About Pip
Pip is a spirited, intelligent, and affectionate dog who thrives on adventure and companionship. She loves:
- Running freely in nature 🌲
- Chasing sticks, digging holes, and splashing in lakes and puddles 💦
- Playing with toys and jumping over obstacles 🧸
- Being close to her humans—she’s happiest when she’s by your side ❤️
She’s incredibly smart and eager to please. In calm environments, she listens beautifully and responds enthusiastically to commands. She’s made great progress in socializing with other dogs and enjoys outdoor playtime with canine friends.

🧠 Pip’s Journey & Challenges
Pip’s early life was difficult. She was adopted from Romania during COVID by a family in the Netherlands who unfortunately didn’t provide her with the structure or socialization she needed. When she came to us, she struggled with severe anxiety.
Over the past four years, we’ve worked tirelessly to help Pip feel safe and confident. She’s come a long way—but some challenges remain:
- *Separation anxiety*: Pip cannot be left alone, which has become increasingly difficult for us to manage.
- *Reactivity*: She cannot be around children and can be territorial, especially with women she bonds closely with.
- *Protective instincts*: Pip displays herding behavior and can be possessive of her pack, if not managed correctly.

We’ve tried introducing a second stable dog to help Pip feel less alone and build her confidence, but unfortunately, the match hasn’t worked. Pip has done well in daycare settings with other dogs, but she needs careful introductions and supervision.

🏡 The Home Pip Needs
Pip is not a beginner’s dog. She needs:
- *Experienced dog owners* who understand behavioral challenges and are committed to continued training
- A *calm, quiet environment* without children
- A home where she’s *rarely left alone*, or where arrangements can be made to support her anxiety
- A family who will give her the time, patience, and love she needs to truly thrive
- We do believe that Pip could benefit from an established pack environment
She’s a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors, has a stable and structured lifestyle, and is looking for a loyal, energetic dog to share life’s adventures.

We believe Pip has the potential to flourish in the right home. She’s full of life, love, and loyalty—and we know she will bring endless joy to the right person or family.
