Hades

Hades is a sweet and gentle dog. Originally rescued from Greece, he lives in the Netherlands since he was a puppy and has adapted very well. He loves going for walks in the park and would be absolutely thrilled to go to a forest or the beach.

Hades is sociable with other dogs, though he tends to bond more with some than others. When he’s excited to play, he runs with great enthusiasm, so a safely enclosed area is ideal for off-leash fun.

At home, Hades is fully housetrained, can stay alone without any issues, and travels well in the car. He’s incredibly calm indoors and enjoys long naps. He’s also smart and responds to commands like “sit,” “down,” “come/here,” “stay,” “rustig,” “leave it,” and even fun ones like “find” (for treat games) and “touch” (to gently tap your hand).

We’re currently looking for a dog sitter who lives nearby and can care for Hades during weekends or longer holidays. He has stayed with different people before and adapts easily. Although Hades is friendly with other dogs, he has never lived with one, so we prefer a home without other pets. He also gets along with cats but occasionally feels the urge to chase them, which is why a cat-free home is ideal. Additionally, we’re looking for someone with experience handling large dogs—Hades weighs around 40 kg.

Hades is een zachtaardige hond, oorspronkelijk gered uit Griekenland. Hij woont in Nederland sins hij 6 maanden was en heeft zich goed aangepast. Hij houdt van wandelingen in het park en is extra blij als hij mee mag naar het bos.

Hij is sociaal met andere honden, al klikt het met sommige beter dan met anderen. Spelen doet hij graag en enthousiast, dus een omheind terrein is ideaal voor hem om los te kunnen rennen.

Thuis is Hades zindelijk, kan hij goed alleen blijven en reist hij makkelijk mee in de auto. Hij is rustig in huis, slaapt veel en kent commando’s zoals ““sit,” “down,” “come/here,” “stay,” “rustig”, “los”, “find” en “touch”.

We zoeken een betrouwbare oppas in de buurt die af en toe voor Hades kan zorgen tijdens weekenden of vakanties. Hij past zich makkelijk aan, maar we geven de voorkeur aan een huis zonder andere huisdieren. Hij kan goed met katten, maar wil ze soms achterna zitten, dus een kattenvrij huis is beter. Hades weegt ongeveer 40 kg, dus ervaring met grote honden is gewenst.
