Meet Harvey – A handsome three-legged ginger boy is looking for a forever home in the Netherlands.

Harvey’s rescue story is one of those heart-breaking one. He was hit by a car and left to die on the road, unable to move, overwhelmed by pain and despair.

Thankfully, he was spotted by a kind rescuer who rushed him to the vet. He suffered from multiple fractures and nerve damage in his front leg. His back paw was successfully treated, but sadly, the front limb could not be saved. With no other option, the vet performed an amputation to give Harvey the best quality of life.

Despite being a tripaw, Harvey doesn’t let anything hold him back. He rocks it like a pro-zips around the house, full of energy and joy. He plays like any other cat, chasing his toys and having a blast with his feline friends.

Harvey is 2 years old now. He lives in a multi cat household, and he get along well with everyone. He plays with them, or he will just settle in one corner watching them zooming around when he is down.

His favourite thing in the world (aside from playtime) is curling up next to his foster mum at bedtime. He’s incredibly affectionate, gentle, and thrives on being close to his human. He is just a bit hesitant being touch if you are not familiar to him. He loves being petted, however, just like any other cats, he may give you a love bite when over stimulated.

Harvey deserves a forever loving home and family, regardless of being a three-legged cat. Unfortunately, this has made it challenging to find him a forever home, and he has been waiting for over a year without success. Nevertheless, just like Harvey, his foster mom refuses to lose hope.

He is a strictly indoor cat only, on an access into a fully catproof balcony.
He is fully vaccinated for both tricat and rabies. Neutered, microchipped, dewormed, tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.
