Omschrijving
Molly is a Labrador, born in January 2022. She joined me when she was 8 weeks old. During her first year, I worked with a professional trainer and have personally been responsible for her education from puppyhood onwards.
She grew up in an apartment and is not used to barking. She only howls when she hears an ambulance and occasionally barks if something unusual happens (maybe once a week). Molly is very energetic, loves walks, running, and playing fetch. She can get overly excited at times, which is the only real behavioral challenge. On walks, when there are too many distractions, she sometimes pulls on the leash. With consistent training, this can easily be improved.
Molly loves children and gets along very well with them. One of the rare times she barked was actually to alert us when a friend’s 2-year-old daughter fell. She loves cuddling on the couch but will move away when you tell her to. Like most Labradors, she has a strong appetite, but she never eats until given permission (even for her own meals) and doesn’t steal food or jump on tables, even if she looks at you with pleading eyes.
She is fine staying alone at home.
She knows the following commands: sit, wait, leave it, fetch, come here, run, go to your place, off, lie down, eat, roll over, paw. She is fully house-trained, goes out twice a day (morning and late afternoon), and has meals on the same schedule. She has a sensitive stomach, so frequent food changes don’t work well for her. She absolutely loves swimming.
This is Molly in short, though I could talk about her for hours. That’s why I believe it would be best to meet over a coffee so you can get to know her in person.
What I’m looking for in Molly’s future companion:
First and foremost, a stable home life. She has stayed in dog hostels during holidays and can do so in the future as well, but my main goal in rehoming her is to make sure she can share her life and energy with people on a daily basis. Ideally, I am looking for someone who enjoys long walks, is playful, and definitely has prior experience with dogs. Preferably a family would be a perfect match.
If you feel Molly could be the companion you’re looking for, we would be happy to meet you.

Toelichting
After my divorce last year, I continued living with my dog Molly. However, due to my work on international expat contracts, I’ll be away from home for long periods, and I want Molly to have a more stable environment. For this reason, I am looking for a new home for her.
