Meet Suzi – a joyful soul looking for her forever home
Suzi is a 10 and a half year old sweetheart who spent 10 years in the back garden with very little attention. When she was finally rescued, her heart exploded with happiness. She wags her tail like crazy, loves cuddles, and wants nothing more than to share her joy with someone who will truly appreciate her.
Suzi adores people. She loves being near her humans, receiving gentle praise, and snuggling up for a quiet moment together. She can get a little nervous when people shout, but she knows her crate is a safe and comforting space, and she enjoys having a spot that is just hers.
When it comes to other dogs, Suzi is a little different. She was never taught how to socialise properly, so her excitement can confuse other dogs and sometimes lead to disagreements. She currently lives with a very patient Jack Russell, but this only works because her companion is extraordinary. Suzi would be happiest as the only dog, so she can focus on giving all her love to her humans without stress.
Suzi used to live with a cat, but she has learned that chasing them is much more fun, so a cat free home is best. She also loves gentle, kind children who respect her space. In return, she is sweet, playful, and full of affection.
She has plenty of energy for her age, and her favourite part of the day is her morning walk. Running on a long lead in a safe open space helps her burn off energy and enjoy the rest of the day calmly. She is house trained, crate trained, and loves treats and praise for being a good girl.
Suzi had part of her tail removed after her excitement caused injury when she was first rescued, but it has never slowed her down. Her heart is bigger than ever, and all she wants is a loving home where she can feel safe, cared for, and truly part of the family.
