Omschrijving
Sudo is a loving, people-oriented dog who thrives on touch, togetherness, and tenderness. Found in poor condition on the streets of Ankara, she’s made a full recovery—and now she’s ready to find a forever home that will love her just as much as she’ll love back.
Despite a rough start and a past dog fight that left one of her ears slightly crumpled, Sudo holds no grudges. Her ear has been fully treated, and she’s a healthy, happy girl looking for her next chapter.
Personality & Home Life
Sudo is a total cuddle bug. She loves being close to her humans—literally. She’ll lie against you, follow you around, ask for pets, and then quietly walk away… only to return 30 minutes later for more love. She’s gentle, sweet, and emotionally in tune.
At home, she’s mostly calm. She may cry a bit when you leave, but she settles down quickly. If food is left out, she might go on a little “sniffing adventure,” so it’s best not to leave things within reach.
She’s not destructive—she shows no chewing habits other than a slight attraction to fuzzy things (like one furry boot). But overall, she respects the home and keeps to her own space.
Outdoor Life & Social Behavior
Sudo walks beautifully on leash. She may pull a little at the start from excitement, but then she calms and walks right by your side. She responds to commands like “no,” “wait,” “sit,” and her name—and she definitely knows when she’s being scolded. She learns quickly and wants to please.
She can get reactive if she sees another dog unexpectedly, especially on leash—she’ll bark and pull. But with distance, time, and training, this behavior can improve. She hasn’t had many close interactions with dogs, but from what we’ve observed, she may do best as a solo dog or with slow introductions to calm companions.
With cats, she’s surprisingly gentle. She has lived with a cat for a couple of months in her previous foster home in Ankara
Key Features:
🐾 One ear slightly bent from a past dog fight—treated and healed
🐾 Very affectionate—loves contact and closeness
🐾 Calm and well-behaved indoors
🐾 Toilet trained—no accidents
🐾 Knows basic commands and listens well
🐾 Doesn’t chew or guard food or toys
🐾 Slight curiosity for fluffy things (she loved a furry boot)
🐾 Walks great on leash after the first few minutes
🐾 Good with cats and okay in the car
🐾 No hunting or prey drive observed
🐾 No experience with public transport
🐾 Good with children
🐾 Needs careful introduction to other dogs
Ideal Home
Sudo would thrive in a calm and loving home, ideally with someone who enjoys cuddles as much as she does. She’s low-maintenance in many ways, but benefits from clear boundaries and daily routines. An experienced dog owner would be helpful, especially to manage her occasional leash reactivity toward other dogs.
She could live with a cat or potentially another calm dog after careful introductions. Whether you’re working from home or just someone who likes a loyal companion at your feet, Sudo is ready to be your shadow.
