Rusty

Rusty is a 9 years old male cat and he is very affectionate. He loves outdoors and loves to roam around in the neighborhood.. I have him ever since he was a kitten. The reason I am putting him on this website is that, me and my husband moved into this new house and we also got a new cat. We thought it will be good for him to have one more companion when we go on holidays. But unfortunate its been 7 months we have the new cat and Rusty does not like her at all. He still hisses at her and does not let her come close to him. He generally does not mind it but because of the new cat’s presence in the house he barely comes to our home anymore. He mostly stays out and comes home sometimes to eat. I am really scared and concerned for him for coming winter and thats why desperately want some
one to adopt him. Someone who doesn’t have a cat and has access to outdoors. I want him to have a home for the winters. Please if you like an orange cat and want someone to share your house, let me know. He is well groomed, less demanding, castrated, vaccinated, chipped and really clean cat (even though he goes out to fields).

A little about Rusty. He was always a little difficult in terms of behavior and liking new people. He was a bit aggressive and would easily scratch or bite you but now as he is growing older he is getting better at it. He doesn’t like to be picked up at all. So if you are considering him then please remember this. He loves to come and sit on your lap or sleep on your chest, but only when he wants it. He is a typical orange cat :) Also he loves going out. he is not at all an indoor cat, so access to outside is crucial.
