Meet Hagrid – A 3-year-old gentle giant is looking for his forever home in the Netherlands.

Hagrid’s journey to safety began in a way that perfectly sums up who he is: bold, sweet, and impossible to ignore. While his rescuer was dining at a restaurant, Hagrid approached her table—dirty, injured, and clearly in need of help. Even in that moment, his loving nature shone through as he asked for not just food but also cuddles. There was no way she could walk away from him.

Now safe, healthy, and thriving, Hagrid is showing the world just how much love he has to give. He’s incredibly sociable—happy to greet new people, curious about his surroundings, and always ready to investigate something new and interesting. Hagrid’s the kind of cat who follows you from room to room, just to be near you. He’s playful, affectionate, and confident. Very friendly even to strangers.

Hagrid loves to curl up in your lap in couch and receive gentle pets—he loves human affection and interaction. He is a perfect cuddle buddy. He loves to cuddle in bed. Loves to be petted and let you carry him for few minutes. Just watch your limit as he tends to bunny kick your hand slightly when he is overstimulated. It’s his way of telling you enough.

He is generally a quiet cat. His meow is very tiny and soft. He sometimes tries to meow but without voice. Unless, you are late for his meal time, then expect him to scream at you.

His playful side comes out when you bring out his toys, and he especially loves playtime when his human joins in.

This sweet boy enjoys being the centre of your world—and he prefers not to share the spotlight. He would be happiest as the only cat in the home.

He is fully vaccinated for both tricat and rabies, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, tested negative for mycoplasma and FIV/FeLV.

He is an indoor cat only or an access into a fully catproof balcony or fully fenced garden.
