Billy

Meet Billy – a loving, playful, and incredibly sweet European Shorthair looking for her new forever home. Billy was born on April 15th, 2024, and has been with us for the last six months. She is a black-and-white young cat with a soft, expressive face and a gentle nature that makes her easy to fall in love with. From the moment she arrived, she showed us how affectionate, curious, and attached she can become to the people around her.

Billy’s personality is truly special. She is playful, energetic, and loves exploring her surroundings, but she also has a calm and cuddly side. One of her most adorable habits is sleeping under the duvet; it’s her favorite place, and she feels safest and happiest there. When she bonds with someone, she shows it clearly—she licks hands, gently sniffs you, and seeks physical closeness. She is a cat that enjoys being near humans, not in a demanding way, but in a warm, companion-like way. She brings a peaceful and joyful energy into the home.

Although she is still young, Billy is already very well socialized. She grew up around other cats and originally lived with another kitten before we adopted her. In general, she interacts well with other cats and enjoys playing with them. However, in our specific situation, our older resident cat did not adjust well to having a second cat in the house. After several months, our first cat developed stress-related behavioral issues and stopped eating and drinking properly. Despite all our attempts, the two cats did not manage to establish harmony. Because we want both cats to live comfortably and stress-free, we made the difficult but responsible decision to rehome Billy. This choice does not reflect anything negative about Billy; she is a truly wonderful cat. It is simply a mismatch between our two cats.

– Healthy, energetic, and regularly checked
She has no medical issues and no behavioral concerns. She uses the litter box perfectly, eats well, and adapts easily to new routines.

Billy also enjoys spending time outdoors if you have a garden. She loves stepping outside, exploring a bit, smelling the plants, and enjoying fresh air. But she never wanders far—she is not the type of cat who disappears or roams for hours. She keeps close to home and comes back inside to rest, cuddle, or play. If you don’t have a garden, that’s completely fine; Billy can live happily indoors as long as she receives attention, stimulation, and affection from her humans.

What Billy needs in her future home is simple: a gentle environment, loving humans, and ideally no highly territorial or sensitive cats. She is young, adaptable, and eager to bond. She would be wonderful for families, couples, or individuals who want a sweet, affectionate companion. She will bring joy, calmness, and liveliness at the same time—she truly is a balanced little cat with a big heart.

We are looking for someone who will appreciate her affectionate nature and give her the warm, stable home she deserves. Rehoming her is not easy for us, because she is such an adorable and loving cat, but we want the best possible environment for both her and our first cat.
