Meet Çizmeli, a calm, loyal, and affectionate male Anatolian Shepherd mix, was rescued from the streets of Niğde, Turkey, where he spent his early life being cared for by kind local feeders. Now, he is ready for a loving foster home in the Netherlands.

✨ Personality & Compatibility
Çizmeli is a gentle giant with a heart as big as his size. He has a calm and friendly nature:
With people: very social and affectionate
With dogs: gets along very well
With cats: friendly and tolerant
With children: great with all ages, from young kids to teenagers
He is loyal, obedient when guided, and enjoys spending time with his people.

🐾 Skills & Habits
Toilet training: unknown (has been living mostly outdoors)
Leash walking: excellent — walks beautifully on a lead
Stairs: can climb comfortably
Car travel: loves it and travels calmly
Activity level: moderate, enjoys walks and outdoor time
Health: no physical anomalies, no medications, no special diet needed
He has striking black and brown eyes and a strong, Rottweiler-like appearance.

💔 Story
Çizmeli was found as a puppy in a feeding area in Niğde and has spent his life in that region. Because of his early care, he is very social with people and other animals. Unfortunately, when municipal culling began, he could no longer stay in the feeding area. He was tied in a friend’s garden temporarily, but that property is now being sold, and he needs a safe place to go.

Since no permanent home was found in Turkey, all necessary paperwork and procedures for international adoption have been completed. He will be ready to travel to the Netherlands on 28 December 2025.
