Boncuk is a wonderful, easygoing, and loving girl who adapts quickly and fits naturally into family life. We are looking for a warm, safe, and caring foster home in the Netherlands, just like the homes we have found for many other dogs before.

If you can offer Boncuk a soft place to land while she prepares for her future permanent family, she will fill your home with peace, gratitude, and quiet affection.


Relationship with People: Boncuk is extremely friendly, gentle, and people-oriented. She loves human attention and enjoys being close to her caregivers.

Relationship with Dogs: Very good — she gets along well with all dogs.

Relationship with Cats: Excellent — she has previously lived in a home with cats and was fully compatible.

Relationship with Children: Ideal for all ages. She has a calm nature and regularly spends time with children who visit the shelter’s garden. She is gentle, patient, and sweet with them.

Obedience / Commands: She is open and responsive to basic commands. Because she walks very well on a leash and learns quickly, her training can easily be developed further.

Potty Training: Yes — she has home experience and is fully potty trained.

Anxiety or Insecurity: None. She can stay home alone without any issues.

Hunting Instinct: None observed

Activity Level: Medium — she is calm, balanced, and not demanding.

Leash Walking: Very good.

Stairs: Yes, she can climb stairs without problems.

Attachment to Owner: Balanced — affectionate and social, but not clingy.

Boncuk is a calm, polite, and well-adjusted dog who is very easy to live with. She is gentle with both animals and people, adapts quickly to new environments, and has a soft, steady personality. She is the kind of dog who brings peace into a home.

Her Story
Boncuk was found as a puppy on the streets. She later lived in a home with cats, and now she stays in a special shelter environment where she is surrounded by donkeys, sheep, chickens, and cats — and she gets along beautifully with all of them.
She is truly a well-socialized, sweet-natured girl.
