Omschrijving
Venus was rescued as a puppy from a dangerous area in Ankara, together with her siblings. She spent her early life in a safe but isolated shelter environment and recently began her new chapter in the Netherlands. She is now living in Rotterdam, where she continues to grow in confidence every day.
Personality & Behavior
Venus is a gentle, sensitive, and thoughtful young dog. She is still on the shy side, especially in unfamiliar situations, but she is not reactive or aggressive in any way. Her cautiousness shows as hesitation rather than fear-driven behavior.
She takes a lot of reassurance from her surroundings. When she has a clear, calm human leader, she is able to walk outside—still a bit timid, but willing. With another dog by her side, she feels noticeably more confident and relaxed.
At home, Venus is quiet and easygoing. She gets along very well with both dogs and cats and currently lives peacefully in a home with one dog and one cat.
Training & Daily Life
Venus’s toilet training is complete. She does not toilet indoors and clearly understands that outside is the right place.
She is generally calm indoors, but like many young dogs, she has a mild chewing tendency. This is not destructive behavior, but it does mean that shoes, cables, or unattended items should be kept out of reach. With proper management and appropriate chew toys, this habit can be guided and improved as she matures.
She does not bark excessively and is not hyperactive.
Key Features
🐾 Rescued as a puppy from Ankara
🐾 Currently living in Rotterdam
🐾 Fully toilet trained
🐾 Shy but improving; walks outside with support
🐾 More confident when accompanied by another dog
🐾 Very good with dogs and cats
🐾 Calm and quiet indoors
🐾 Mild chewing habit – needs supervision and toys
🐾 Gentle, non-reactive temperament
What Kind of Home Does Venus Need?
Venus will thrive in a calm, stable, and predictable home. While she is making great progress, she is still not suited for very busy, chaotic environments.
Her ideal home would:
🐾 be quiet and emotionally stable
🐾 offer patient, gentle guidance
🐾 fit for being the second dog of the household
🐾 avoid high-energy or overwhelming routines
She does not need pressure or fast expectations—she needs consistency, kindness, and time.
Venus may not be the dog that runs toward you on day one—but she is the kind of dog who, once she feels safe, will quietly choose you. Watching her confidence grow step by step is deeply rewarding for the right person.
If you are looking for a gentle companion and understand that trust is built slowly, Venus might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
