Hedwig

Hedwig is part of a very special little family named after Harry Potter characters. She was found together with her mother Hermione and her four siblings after they had been very recently neutered and ear-tagged, when the puppies were only around 5–6 months old.

They were living in a suburban area that was sadly not dog-friendly. Because of their incredibly sweet and social nature, they would happily approach people for affection — something that placed them at serious risk. Under the local massacre law, dogs like them had no real chance of survival and could have been removed at any time.
