Omschrijving
Ginny is part of a very special little family named after Harry Potter characters. She was found together with her mother Hermione and her four siblings after they had been very recently neutered and ear-tagged, when the puppies were only around 5–6 months old.
They were living in a suburban area that was sadly not dog-friendly. Because of their friendly nature, they could have been removed at any moment, and under the local massacre law, dogs like them had no real chance of survival. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time and brought to safety.
The whole family was placed in a dog hotel, where they received all their vaccinations and proper care while waiting for their turn to fly to the Netherlands and begin their search for loving forever homes.
Ginny is a gentle, thoughtful girl who takes a little time with new experiences. She can be hesitant and slightly guarded at first, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines through. And when it comes to people — Ginny is absolutely crazy about them. Human connection is what she values most, and she bonds deeply with those she trusts.
She has no known diseases, no special dietary needs, and no medical conditions — just a healthy young dog who needs patience and understanding as she continues to build confidence.
Ginny has never lived in a home before, but she is already potty trained, which is a wonderful foundation. She will still need time to adjust to new routines, environments, and expectations, especially in the beginning.
She loves water just as much as her siblings and happily joins in whenever there’s a chance to splash, play, or cool off.
Ginny is afraid of having a collar put on, but she walks very well on a harness, where she feels much more secure. She would benefit from regular, structured walks and more exercise, as well as learning to walk properly on leash — something she is very capable of with calm guidance and positive reinforcement.
She lived in a dog hotel with many other dogs, mostly interacting with her siblings. On walks, she remained calm around stray dogs and dogs barking from behind fences. We haven’t had the opportunity to observe her with small children yet, but given her deep love for people, we expect her to be affectionate once she feels safe.
She would do best in a patient, kind home that understands sensitive dogs and is willing to help her discover the world at her own pace.
If you can open your home — and your heart — to Ginny, you’ll be giving a devoted, loving soul the chance to grow into the confident companion she is meant to be. 🐾✨
She is ready to fly to the Netherlands as soon as she finds a foster home and a flight volunteer!
