Hermione

Hermione is the heart of a very special little family named after Harry Potter characters. She was found together with her five puppies after they had been very recently neutered and ear-tagged, when the puppies were only around 5–6 months old. Despite everything she had been through, Hermione remained calm, gentle, and incredibly trusting toward people.

They were living in a suburban area that was unfortunately not dog-friendly. Because of their sweet and social nature, both Hermione and her puppies would approach people for affection — something that sadly placed them at great risk. Under the local massacre law, dogs like them stood no real chance of survival and could have been removed at any moment.

Thankfully, the entire family was taken to safety and placed in a dog hotel, where they received all their vaccinations and proper care while waiting for their turn to fly to the Netherlands and begin their search for loving forever homes.

Hermione is exceptionally friendly with people and truly enjoys human companionship. She is confident and relaxed on leash, making walks with her a pleasure. She is fully potty trained and adapts easily to routines, showing just how ready she is for life in a home.

She is a healthy adult dog with no known diseases, no special dietary needs — just a wonderful mother dog who deserves a peaceful, loving life of her own.

As a mother, Hermione is nothing short of remarkable. She has been attentive, patient, and endlessly caring with her puppies, guiding them gently and playing with them despite being smaller than her growing pups. Even now, she remains playful and engaged with them, clearly enjoying their company and games.

While she once waited patiently and allowed her puppies to eat before her, Hermione has understandably begun to guard her own food now that her mothering duties are coming to an end. This is a very normal transition and is easily managed with separate feeding and clear routines.

Hermione lived peacefully with many other dogs at the dog hotel and showed balanced, appropriate social behavior. We have not yet had the opportunity to observe her with small children, but given her gentle nature and love for people, we expect her to be affectionate and tolerant with respectful kids.

Hermione does not need to be adopted together with her puppies and would likely thrive as the center of attention in her own home — a place where she can finally relax, be cared for, and be loved just for herself.
