Omschrijving
About a month ago we learned about 8 Malinois puppies (3 have been homed) from an accidental litter. The original owner was promised support and placements by “higher up” people who said they would purchase the dogs once they were old enough, but that never happened. Ten months later, he was left alone with all the dogs, with broken promises and no real help.
Because of that, these pups spent most of their lives in a garage (with garden breaks), and they were not vaccinated early on. He did what he could with what he had. He slept with them, fed them, and asked for help on many occasions, but the situation became impossible.
We’ve now stepped in and we are rehoming all five.
Rosa is one of our 11 month old Malinois pups looking for a truly suitable home in the Netherlands Germany or Belgium.
Rosa is very affectionate and people focused. She loves cuddles and closeness and would happily be attached to you all day if she could. She also enjoys playtime and running and she has that typical Malinois enthusiasm and drive but her biggest thing is connection. She is the kind of dog who wants to be included in everything and she thrives when she has attention structure and a routine.
Rosa is friendly with other dogs and enjoys being social but like all young Malinois she still needs guidance calm leadership and training to help her grow into a balanced adult dog. She will do best in a home that is active and committed and that can give her both exercise and mental stimulation every day.
Important to know
Not aggressive and very affectionate
Friendly with people and generally social with other dogs
Very little leash experience so walking nicely on leash still needs to be taught
Not toilet trained at all so this is a fresh start from the beginning
We do not know yet how she is with cats so only reach out if you are willing to introduce and test safely and slowly
About Malinois honest but important
Malinois are brilliant dogs but they are not an easy breed. They need a combination of mental work physical exercise and structure every single day. Without that they can become overstimulated frustrated and start creating their own jobs like destructive behaviour obsessive habits or reactivity. Rosa will thrive in a home that enjoys training gives her daily structure and also gives her the affection and closeness she loves.
