Timmy is a perfect, affectionate, small black golden retriever mix. I got him from a shelter in Turkey when he was 7 months old. He was looked after with love at a village home there, so he has no anxiety or bad behaviour with other dogs or people.
On the contrart he loves everyone and is very playful. His activity level is medium; if he gets some playtime out; he is a perfectly chill dog for the rest of the day. His attachment is also at a medium level, he will be as cuddly as you like, but won't be glued to you.
He doesn't bark or have seperation anxiety. I do leave him in a crate alone and he is perfectly fine for hours if needed.
He is still young so has that puppy energy and enthusiasm, but has been maturing well.

I am an expat in Amsterdam and got Timmy to be a companion. My job for the past year has been increasingly busy and mandates that I am out of the country at least a week every month. It is difficult to look after a dog for a single person but as my work and travel situation intensified, it has been a bigger burden. My mother; who looked after him in my travels recently had a major accident and she won't be able to take him anymore for the forseeble future.
I've never thought of rehoming him before. But I will be moving to the UK this year, and going to a new city with no connections will even be more difficult to arrange sitters. Timmy has so much love to give, loves parks and outdoors and I have been feeling that I cannot give him enough of that. So I've been battling with this decision, but I feel it's the best for him at this point.
The best situation would be a couple or a family; who can give him the love and time he deserves
