Meet Zara – She's Looking for Her Forever Home in the Netherlands 🧡
Zara is one of the many pets who were sadly left behind when her owner fled the country during the unrest. Having always lived as a house cat, she had no idea how to survive on the streets. Unable to defend herself, she was repeatedly attacked by stray cats, leaving her with wounds and patches of fur missing all over her body.
Despite everything, Zara survived. She found a tiny gap in the wall of a shed where she hid, frightened and alone. It was almost midnight when her cries for help were heard, and she was finally rescued.
Since then, Zara has made a wonderful recovery. She is now healthy, has healed beautifully, and thankfully suffered no lasting health problems or infections from her time outdoors.
