Nori

The decision to rehome Nori has been incredibly difficult and is entirely due to my own circumstances, not because of him.
My financial situation has become very precarious, and I constantly worry that if Nori were to need unexpected veterinary care, I would not be able to afford it. I also occasionally need to travel for work, studies, or to visit sick family members in my home country. Because Nori cannot simply stay with anyone, I often need to arrange a cat sitter, and that is becoming financially difficult as well.
Nori is truly the sweetest, calmest cat I have ever met. On a normal day, as long as no new health issues arise, he does not require any special care beyond the love, attention, and monitoring that any senior cat deserves.
Another important reason is his living situation. I live in a shared house where there was already another cat. When I started fostering Nori, we hoped they would eventually live together. Unfortunately, after Nori was diagnosed with FIV, introducing them was no longer an option. As a result, Nori has been living comfortably in my bedroom with access to a balcony. He is genuinely content there and doesn't seem bothered by the limited space, but keeping him separated makes daily care more demanding for me and for anyone who looks after him when I'm away. I know he would benefit from a home where his environment is easier to manage and where his caregiver can give him consistent attention without these limitations.
