Meet Hamur 🐾 – A Gentle, Affectionate Boy with a Heart as Soft as Dough
Hamur is a sweet, calm, and affectionate boy who loves human companionship. His name means *dough* in Turkish, and there's a special story behind it!
Hamur lived in a village near Ankara, where he was loved and cared for by local residents. During one of our neutering campaigns, he was neutered and returned to his village.
When Hamur injured his leg, the villagers tried treating it with dough, a traditional rural remedy. We brought him to a veterinary clinic, where his injury healed completely.
As municipal roundups became increasingly dangerous, we worried his trusting nature would make him an easy target. Our rescuer in Ankara decided to bring him into our adoption programme.
