Omschrijving
Andy is a purebred Boston Terrier, born April 29, 2024, with AKC registration papers and an obedience training certificate. He is a highly social, affectionate and playful dog who loves people and loves a couch to snuggle on. He is house-trained, crate trained, can stay home alone for a few hours, and travels well in the car. He is used to four walks a day and needs those walks to stay happy.
Andy is great with other dogs and has stayed with sitters alongside other dogs, but he can be excited or a bit pushy at the first meeting, so introductions should be slow. He loves to play with children, but he jumps up on people to get attention, which can be overwhelming for small kids. He is best with children aged 12 and over, or with an adult who will keep working on this with him. He has a...

Toelichting
Our household situation has changed. In Miami we had a bigger house, and a household member's allergies were reasonably under control. Here in Eindhoven we live in a smaller home, and those allergies have become stronger. We are also planning to move to an even smaller rental, which would make the allergies worse, and it is very hard to find a rental in Eindhoven that accepts a pet. Andy deserves a home where he can be part of the family and get the attention he needs, so after a lot of thought we decided to find him a permanent, loving home. This is a hard decision for us, and we want to make sure he goes to the right people. We are asking an adoption fee of €250 to cover part of his training, registration papers and vaccinations, and to help make sure he goes to a committed home. We would like to meet in person in Eindhoven first.
