Lia Sagiv

I'm a 29-year-old woman originally from the Dominican Republic, now settled in a stable apartment in Amsterdam after recent MANY life changes. I live alone with no other animals or kids. With a background in marketing, supply chain, and freelance cultural projects, I'm building structure through Dutch lessons, meditation, gym routines, and freelance work—planning my next steps while seeking purpose amid transitions.

I've always dreamed of having a cat but lacked the right setup until now. I've always wondered what having a cat would be like full-time. My animal experience is hands-on but limited: caring for family dogs and cats during visits in the DR (feeding, grooming, play), plus observing friends' pets in Amsterdam. No formal fostering yet, but I'm responsible, patient, and quick to learn—references available from friends who know my nurturing side.

My motivation is emotional: before taking on the full responsibility, I want to try fostering and see how my experience goes—bringing fulfillment, routine, and joy while combating personal isolation with their independent affection. It's also meaningful, letting me contribute to society by helping cats like Romy and Maki find stability. I'm committed to their needs (litter, feeding, gentle interaction on their terms), available long-term temporarily. Loooking forward to this new beginning :)
