Hello! We're Joanna & Moritz, a couple in our early thirties who love animals and would like to open our home to a dog. We live in a spacious double-story apartment in Amsterdam with a terrace and balcony, a short walk from the dog park in Westerpark. We both work from home part-time, so there's usually someone around.
Growing up, Joanna had a German shepherd who she raised by herself. In our adult life we have been petsitting many dogs, including a rescue dachshund from Hungary for an extended period. We're warm, patient people who create a safe space for animals and people alike.
Although we have some experience, we'd appreciate structured support from an adoption organisation when it comes to training, especially if we foster a puppy or adolescent. We're open to any dog with an energy level suited to an active city-based couple, as long as the mutual click is there.
