Sadly, I am no longer able to provide Zeus and Sathena with the environment and attention they deserve and need to thrive. I am a single mom, relocated from Seattle with my two year old boy and both dogs. Sathena is actually pretty good off leash-mostly stays by your side, will come back pretty easily (though ducks can be a weakness), isn't bothered by other dogs anymore. I wish she could train Zeus. Sathena's weakness is she can't handle my son's unpredictably, which is increasing at the moment at age 2. She runs from him often even if he's not doing much. She is very stressed living here. She hides, sometimes barks at him, though she is a sweet and peaceful girl who does not want to harm. I don't want her stuck in a home where she is so anxious all the time. She also now refuses the porch poddy after using it without issue for 3 mos. This is required before bed and first thing in the morning because I can’t leave my son to walk them then. They sleep in the bathrooms on the nights when they refuse. The off leash dogs that run at and chase us causes Zeus to be very stressed. Never encountered this so much in any other city. Despite tons of training before we moved and more after we moved, Zeus, as my dog with a toddler, can't stay consistently neutral when dogs either run up to or at us, walk out their door barking while we pass by, etc. He is fine with most dogs, but the surprise element gets him. I can't manage everyone and need to be able to walk all three together. Zeus is wonderful with my son. I had hoped he would teach Sathena. She seemed to improve for a time but it is now getting worse as he is 2. Have spent $$$$$ and hours on training, calming supplements, techniques, animal communicator, etc. It's time to find a better human(s) for Zeus and Sathena who can stop trying to force them to change. It's been incredibly difficult because I love them and haven't wanted to let them go. But I can't be a good mom to all three of them sadly. They need an affectionate dog lover outside the city...they are beautiful dogs with loving personalities and everyone loves them. Will donate funds to a shelter for those who adopt them together. Including a fee to ensure they go to someone who will have the resources, time, and attention to give them more than I can.
