Legolas

Legolas was first found as a 5 months old puppy, together with his siblings, at a village in Ankara, Turkey. He grew up in the village, fed, sheltered, vaccinated, castrated. At around 1-1.5 years old he had weakness in his hind legs and was struggling. He received immediate veterinary care, but nothing can be found. As such, we didn't return him back to the village and took him in a dog sanctuary. He recovered from that episode and it is hard even for us to realize any weakness in his hind legs. He was never returned to the village again.

Since he was safe in the dog sanctuary, we prioritized other dogs who needed immediate help for rehoming in the Netherlands. It is now his turn to find his forever family.

Legolas is a very affectionate, calm and quiet dog. He has the best communication with other dogs; he is an alpha without domineering. He has the most charismatic aura.

He is a low to medium energy dog. He will be a couch potato at home and he will enjoy slow and loong walks in the nature.

He is not tested with a cat in a closed space like a home, but both his village background and his anatolian shepherd genes makes us think that he will be very good with a cat at home.

He has always been in suburban areas but he is a very confident dog, as such we do not expect him to be super scared in a city environment.
