Pati

Pati, our sweet, paw-giving cuddlebug, is looking for a foster home starting February for a duration more than 3 months (see P.S for explanation for the duration). Anyone who has met him knows how deeply he bonds and how much love he brings into a household — every foster he has stayed with has wished they could keep him forever. Now he needs a safe and stable place to continue building his confidence while we search for his forever family.

Pati is incredibly affectionate and becomes your soft, loyal shadow. He settles beautifully at home, naps a lot, and can stay alone for a couple of hours. He has a goofy, endearing personality and sometimes gets spooked like Scooby-Doo by vacuums or statues. He adores playing fetch and proudly carries his ball around. He loves routines, enjoys peaceful moments, and is just as happy cuddling as he is relaxing on his own. He is the perfect mix of peaceful, playful, and heart-melting.

He’s a sensitive boy who can feel unsure around strangers or unexpected visitors, something that improves with stability, structure, and slow introductions. His ideal foster home is calm, without many visitors, and can keep him separate when guests are over. Someone who can follow our trainer’s guidance and offer a predictable routine, gentle handling, and patience would be wonderful. Experience with rescue dogs is helpful but not required. Pati is not aggressive — just insecure at times. He is currently staying at Shuki Dog Services, in a board and train program. They confirmed his kind nature and will offer free guidance and training to his adoptive family. What Pati needs most is stability and time.

Outdoors, he enjoys relaxed walks, is social with other dogs, and loves run-and-chase games. He travels well by car and public transport and has an average energy level — short activities followed by long naps are his ideal routine. He’s sweet, easy to care for, and incredibly rewarding to have around.

Fostering Pati means welcoming a dog who will love you with his whole heart, make you laugh every day, and truly appreciate the stability you give him. He has been through many transitions, and your home could be the place where he finally feels safe and supported.

P.S. As we only have foster homes available for a max of 2 months, it means we can’t provide the stability Pati needs even if he always have a place to go. Therefore if we can’t find him a foster home with an availability for more than 3 months, we will consider to return him to Turkey in February.
